Weather Master Kerry · Case study

What €50,000 in Google Ads revealed about local search

Google Ads · Kerry, Cork and Limerick

A homeowner searching for a particular type of window is asking a different question from someone already looking for Weather Master. For this Irish windows and doors supplier, both specific product keywords and searches for the brand were important sources of results.

What the three-year account delivered

We set up Google Ads, Analytics and conversion tracking and managed the account for three years. Across roughly €50,000 in spend, the reported average cost per acquisition was €17.

€7.60 per tracked conversion in the Kerry search campaign

The Kerry campaign recorded 13,352 clicks from 72,590 impressions, an 18.39% click-through rate. It spent €13,029.96 and earned 1,713.50 conversions as attributed by Google Ads.

How the same advertiser performed across three markets

The Cork search campaign recorded 5,729 clicks and 216 conversions at €24.11 per conversion. Limerick recorded 5,270 clicks and 227.20 conversions at €22.61 each. Of the three search campaigns shown, Kerry had both the highest click-through rate and the lowest cost per conversion.

Selected Google Ads campaigns. The figures here cover part of the account spend. Google Ads can divide conversion credit across interactions, which is why some totals include decimals.

The lesson for a local advertiser

Give people who already know your name a clear route back to your business. For someone still choosing a supplier, match the ad to the product they actually want. Then compare conversion costs by service area: the same budget went considerably further per tracked conversion in Kerry than in Cork or Limerick.

The campaign report shows regional performance. It does not break out how many conversions came from brand terms or individual keywords.
